This was one hundred% needed! And type of exciting! There was no way to set up a ladder to paint this window! Not even a ladder with twenty+ configurations like mine! So we had to make a cinder block ladder.

Two cinder blocks for three ranges: Every level perpendicular to the one particular beneath it [to prevent rocking]. 1.5 blocks (I was happy to have that 50 %-height block on the bottom still left!) to offer with the simple fact that they hung through the edge of the phase. I had to create the vertical cinder block in front as a action onto to get to the leading. (Yo dawg, I heard you like steps, so I place actions on your actions so you can step whilst stepping).

But then the top rated was not tall enough, so the diagonal block had to be added. It wasn’t originally diagonal, but was turned so to let manage of how significantly away my experience is from what I am painting — because painting some thing 2 inches in front of your encounter is AWKWARD! There is certainly absolutely nothing to hold onto other than the trim of the window!

In all, nine.5 cinder blocks have been utilised. And the stack of Peapod bins to the right gave me a place to set my paint tray.

We also painted the stair railing. (I the moment fell so swiftly that I ripped the railing out of the wall and Still bled a whole lot. So I enjoy it a lot more now since my arm would most likely have been damaged in any other case.)

You can also see the partially-painted fence. Additional paint on the brushes at the stop of the day went to fence submit tops, then fence posts, then fence tops, then sides, then bottoms. We ended up performing the whole fence with &quotdone for the day&quot brushes, even though we hadn’t intended to paint the fence.

Peapod bins, cinder block ladder, cinder blocks, fence, gutter guards, home routine maintenance, stair rail, window.
following painting. diptych.

BACKSTORY: So our house owners insurance policy (Farmers) got dropped because of to obtaining peeling paint on our window sills (amongst other items). Then Progressive took us and did the actual identical issue. Weak. It was a Great deal of operate AND cash for us to repaint all our sills. Wood windows SUCK!! Contemporary vinyl windows are MAINTANENCE-Cost-free!! Wood windows… You gotta re-glaze the panes when they fall out, and then the wooden itself is often heading to rot. What a discomfort!

the gutter guard then wraps close to my torso with the blades sticking out of the front and back. I utilized an additional zip tie to attach the guard on the other side. I ought to most likely remove that stick

Thats scary enough but what will it mean when these same criminals get access to our medical records? I worry about all that private information out there just waiting to be hacked.
